  • Threads: 8/0 Uni-thread, or equiv.; black, tan or brown; 6/0 Uni-thread, dynacord or fine monofilament thread.
  • Hook:s Standard dry fly; dry fly; 4XL nymph/streamer, or 6XL streamer.
  • Body Materials: Fine yellow yarn or dry-fly-type dubbing, gold mesh or braid. fine/medium lead wire, gray dry-fly dubbing, olive dubbing or fine floss-like material.
  • Wing & Tailing Materials: Mottled turkey, very fine deer hair, brown calf tail, white bucktail, calf tail, or calf body hair, squirrel tail.
  • Hackle: Hoffman dry-fly saddle or equiv. in grizzly or cree; brown and grizzly dry-fly necks.
  • Head/Collar (Muddler): Spinnable deer hair
