These are the Flies You'll be Tying in this Tape:
- Hair-Wing Caddis, Dry Fly
- Grizzly Wulff, Dry Fly
- Muddler Minnow, Streamer
- Adams Parachute, Dry Fly
Materials You'll Need to Tie Step 2 Flies
- Threads: 8/0 Uni-thread, or equiv.; black, tan or brown; 6/0 Uni-thread,
dynacord or fine monofilament thread.
- Hook:s Standard dry fly; dry fly; 4XL nymph/streamer, or 6XL streamer.
- Body Materials: Fine yellow yarn or dry-fly-type dubbing, gold
mesh or braid. fine/medium lead wire, gray dry-fly dubbing, olive
dubbing or fine floss-like material.
- Wing & Tailing Materials: Mottled turkey, very fine deer hair,
brown calf tail, white bucktail, calf tail, or calf body hair, squirrel
tail.
- Hackle: Hoffman dry-fly saddle or equiv. in grizzly or cree; brown
and grizzly dry-fly necks.
- Head/Collar (Muddler): Spinnable deer hair
