Remote Lakes - Fish or Explore

We have boats, motors and even gas on different lakes that are accessible by short portages off the home lake. You need only your fishing gear and your camera - the fishing is great and the scenery is beautiful!

Our camp is the centre of the finest fishing available in the near north. (See Map)

Walleye (Yellow Pickerel), Lake Trout, Whitefish, Smallmouth Bass and the ever hungry Northern Pike, will make even a gourmet's mouth water. Speckled Trout streams or stocked ponds are only minutes away.

Accommodations

Beautifully located on the gentle sloping shores of Lake Herridge, are 6 modern winterized cottages. These units consist of 1, 2, & 3 bedroom, a large furnished living room, fully equipped kitchens, and the 3 piece bathrooms have an abundance of hot water. Gas BBQs are included with our cottages.

Carpets & drapes make each cottage comfortable and cozy. Linens, blankets and electric heat, put the finishing touches on these dwellings.

Each day brings exhaustive entertainment.... each night requires isolated rest. Our quiet cottages allow you to recharge your batteries in solitude for yet another full day at Papa John's.

Please Remember to Bring Your Own Towels & Tea Towels

Something For Everyone!

There's a sandy beach with a diving dock and play area. Campfire pits host roaring fires where we all gather around in the evenings, roast marshmallows, and join in the friendly conversation, and the fish stories of the day.

As well as boats with motors, we have canoe, and paddle boat rentals. There's a large fish cleaning shack, horse shoe pits, and a small tuck shop with live bait.

Close by there are walking, biking, and hiking trails. You can visit Caribou Mountain for a panoramic view of the Temagami Wilderness.
