Great Newfoundland Adventures
for those that love to hunt and fish!

Want to take the hunting or fishing trip of a lifetime? One that you've always dreamed about?

We'll take you to remote areas where hunting and fishing is at its very best!

Location (Map) & Seasons

Two of our camps are located in Northern Newfoundland - Area 3, which can be reached only by float plane. Our camps here can accommodate 3 or 4 hunters each week, for single game or combination hunts.

Belby, Owl Pond, and Christopher Lake are located in Area 45, which is also in Northern Newfoundland. These camps can be reached by Ski Dozer or Plane, and can also accommodate up to 4 hunters each week.

Moose antlers are a unique trophy, and are a real prize to take home. The cape may also be taken, if desired. Moose meat is also very delicious to eat, and you will certainly want to take all or some back home with you.

Woodland Caribou are also within easy access of the camps. Caribou too are excellent to eat. The large males have spectacular racks of antlers for hunters seeking the trophy of a lifetime. Our success rate has been between 95-100%

Come Prepared

We recommend that all hunters bring high-powered rifles equipped with scopes, that have see through under open sights. Rifles should be sighted for 150 to 200 yards.

Each hunter should bring warm sleeping bags, warm clothing, good rubber footwear (approximately 12-16" high), binoculars, good rain gear, and of course, a camera for recording your spectacular trip.

Because we have some fly-in camps, you should try to keep your gear as light as possible, approximately 60 pounds per person or less.

Meat Care

We will take good care of your meat. We have meat houses at our camps. Each hunter's animal is put in heavy white cotton bags, tagged. We provide instructions on how to handle your meat once it leaves camp. Meat cutting and packaging is available and done right here at your request.

Accommodations

Each camp is inspected annually by government officials and must exceed Newfoundland Tourist Development requirements.

Each camp has guest bedrooms with two single beds in each room.

Cook's and guide's quarters are separate from the guests. Our cook will prepare hearty breakfasts each morning and a hot home style meal every evening.

Guides

We believe our guides play a very important role in the success of your trip and our business. We provide experienced, professional guides who work hard each day to ensure that the hunters get their game. A lot of hunting is done by "spot and stalk". Also guides try their skill of "moose calling" around mid-September when the rut begins.

Fishing and Other Tips

There is excellent fishing in Newfoundland and Labrador for salmon, brook and sea run trout. The best time to fish Newfoundland and Labrador is from late June to late August. Please inquire about our fishing brochures or visit our fishing website.

Sometimes choosing an outfitter can be very difficult. Some outfitters tend to over hunt their area, this makes it very difficult to find game.

If you decide to come with us, I'm sure you will have a successful and memorable hunting or fishing trip

Hunters should book early to avoid disappointment because Licenses are limited.
